Principal's Message

Welcome Letter
August 17, 2017

Dear LVM Family,

It is with great anticipation that I welcome you to the 2017/2018 school year! We expect this to be our best year ever, and your support and cooperation as a true partner in education will go a long way in achieving that goal. Earlier this summer you should have received a packet. In this packet, you will find the following:
-Individual student schedules
-School uniform policy & Supply list (double-sided)
-A “full-day schedule” of all instructional periods (Bell schedule)

Please contact the main office ASAP if you have not received your packet yet.

Please be advised that school will begin for all students on Wednesday, September 6th, which will be a full day with dismissal at 3:00 PM. Parents and guardians will not be permitted in the gymnasium on the first day of school as students begin to gather in their homeroom assignments. We respectfully ask that you say your goodbyes and give hugs and kisses at the front door so that our LVM staff members can have the full attention of all students. Rest assured that your children are in good hands; we will all be a bit anxious on the first day, but those feelings typically go away quickly once the students re-enter the building after a long summer break. As always, feel free to contact the main office with any questions. Also, our Back-to-School Night/Open House program has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 20th from 6:30-8:30 PM. Please mark your calendars for this important event early in the school year; we hope to see everyone there. Best wishes for a fun and safe conclusion to the summer…we’ll see you in September for a great year at LVM!
