From the Principal

Greetings and Welcome to the LV Moore School website. Our mission is to provide a quality learning experience that is sensitive to the needs of a culturally-diverse community. LV Moore is unique, in that, students and staff add to the array of cultures that are: African, African-American, European, European-American, Haitian-American and Latino-American. Our rich, culturally-diverse learning community enhances understanding, acceptance and tolerance of all members in the Roselle community, as well as, the global community.

Administration and the professional faculty facilitate instructional programs that provide students with the necessary skills, values and ideals that will propel them to be productive citizens in the 21st Century. Our faculty delivers a standards-based curriculum with skill and enthusiasm. Teachers remain on the cutting edge by participating in professional development that offers best practices and research-based strategies in alignment with the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards.

The parental arm of our learning community, PTG, works diligently to ensure the parents and families have a voice in the process. They also provide rich experiences for all students.

I welcome and encourage all to communicate with me with any questions and/or suggestions by emailing me at aosterhoudt@roselleschools.org or by calling me directly at the school.

Yours in Education,
