It is the intent of the NJ Legislature, in its January 2011 enactment of the new Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) Law, to strengthen the standards and procedures for preventing, reporting, investigating, documenting, and responding to incidences of
HIB of students that occur in school and off school premises.

The Roselle Public School District prohibits all acts of harassment, intimidation or bullying.
In adherence with the procedures set forth in the District's HIB Policy and the NJ Anti-Bullying Law, an HIB complaint will be investigated promptly within 24 hours of being reported.
