Mrs. Santos 5th Grade LA Class

Welcome to Mrs. Santos's Fifth Grade Language Arts Literacy Class Page

Our classroom is located in room 5 at Leonard V. Moore.  I look forward to a great school year full of exciting, successful and meaningful learning experiences!  We have an extremely busy but exhilarating school year ahead of us.

I pledge to you to always do my best to provide your child with a motivating and engaging learning experience.  However, it is crucial that we are partners in your child’s learning process.  Please always encourage your child to study and complete their homework on a daily basis.  This year we have a new reading and writing program which is accessible online, I will discuss on our back to school night. A daily required homework assignment will be to complete at least 30 minutes of reading and then respond to the reading in their “Independent Reading Folder."

For daily for updates, due dates, important news, and homework, parents, guardians and students can check our class page on the school’s website as well as Remind app, please see me to sign up.  I am excited to work together and make this school year fantastic!

Please feel free to join our class App, Remind, and get up to the minute information on homework, upcoming events, or even contact me directly.  The App is easy to use and best of all it's free.  Just send me an email or a message through your child, and I will send you quick and easy directions!

If you have any concerns or questions, please feel free to contact me; email is the best and quickest way to reach me.  Thank you for joining me on this wonderful journey as we prepare our children for college, work and life.

Sincerely,
Mrs. Santos
