Mrs. Kerr's 6th Grade Science

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Our class has just completed a unit on Earth's Place in the Universe where we discussed What causes the seasons; the relative positions of Earth, moon, and sun; and how the size of meteors affect the size of a moon crater. We will be starting a new unit where we will be focusing on Plate Tectonics and Continental Drift.

Should you have any questions or concerns about your child's progress, classroom happenings, or anything else, I am willing to speak with you. You may contact me via email at, send in a note, or call the school at 908 298 2047 to leave a message or schedule an appointment. I am available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 3:10 - 3:30 pm or during my prep period from 9:30 - 10:10 am from Monday to Friday.

Please check the calendar as well as Google classroom for any homework or upcoming tests and quizzes. Please ensure that your child completes homework assignments since this is an important part of their grade.
